Between Plasma Televisions or LCD Televisions, we believe many people are still confused which is better LCD or Plasma, therefore we try to give a little guidance so you can better ensure your choice.
The main question is, is there any difference in image quality between Plasma TV and LCD TV ?
What are the advantages of the Plasma Televisions compared to LCD Televisions ?
Plasma TV usually has a wider angle view than LCD TV so it will be easier for you determining on where your sitting position.
Plasma TV can produce a sharper image than LCD TV, especially for the quick movement on a movie.
Plasma TV is more cheaper than LCD TV, although lately there are some LCD TV brands that have competitive price with Plasma Televisions
What are the advantages of the LCD vs. Plasma?
LCD has a higher resolution than Plasma TV ( in the same size )
LCD will consume less power than Plasma TV (about 30% lower)
LCD have a longer life span than the usual Plasma TV, it can survive up to 60,000 hours while the plasma around 30,000 hours
So, Which one is better for you? Plasma or LCD?
If you want a small size TV under 50 inch TV. LCD is the best choice considering the price for the size of the LCD is much cheaper than Plasma TV.
If you want a big TV or more than 50 inch and we encourage you to buy Plasma Televisions, because the price of Plasma for size over 50 inch is much cheaper than the LCD TV.
Whether Plasma or LCD that you will buy, make sure that the TV has intergrated / digital tuner for a better picture
